The Jagmandir Palace is another one of the tourist attractions in Kota. The Jagmandir Palace was built by one of the queens of Kota in 1740 and is situated in the middle of the Kishore Sagar Lake. The Kishore Sagar Lake is an artificial lake and is well known for its scenic beauty.
It was built by Prince Dehra Deh of Bundi in 1346 AD. Built in red sandstone, the Jagmandir Palace is a monument of exquisite beauty and boasts of architectural excellence. The palace served as a pleasure palace for the kings of Kota.
Today, the palace is open to tourists and they can enjoy boat rides in the Kishore Sagar Lake and enjoy the panoramic view of the palace and its surroundings from the lake. The Keshar Bagh is also situated near the Jagmandir Palace and is well known for its royal cenotaphs.
